Stone was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as South Jones apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.
Several Tomcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jabori Moye, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ray Dennis, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Stone's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for South Jones, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.
Stone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Jones, they will take on Wayne County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wayne County is coming into the game with 11 straight victories on the road, so South Jones is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
