Western had won 12 straight games and Byron Miranda did his part to make it 13 on Thursday. The Pioneers blew past the Los Amigos Lobos 3-0 with plenty of help from Miranda, who had 18 digs and two assists. Miranda is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-17.

Western's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-1. As for Los Amigos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
