Soccer Recap: Houghton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Iron Mountain on Wednesday, Houghton came back down to earth. The Gremlins fell just short of the Boyne City Ramblers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Houghton dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Boyne City, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Houghton will venture away from home to take on Grayling at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Boyne City, they will host Harbor Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Harbor Springs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Boyne City surely won't give up without a fight.
