Basketball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 57-48 to the Juab Wasps. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rabbits this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-27 back in December of 2024.

Hailee Hall continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Juab, going 5 for 9 en route to 22 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Hall a new career-high in points. Ashlyn Wright was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Juab, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Delta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-37 loss against Canyon View on the 30th. Juab has also already played their next game, a 40-38 victory against Richfield on the 30th.
