Basketball Recap: Hartley Comes Up Short

Hartley and Happy squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Hartley had to settle for second. They fell to the Happy Cowboys 49-43. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now lost seven in a row.

Hartley's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Happy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Hartley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Happy, they will take on Claude on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
