Barrington entered their tilt with Middletown on Thursday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Islanders. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Islanders, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Barrington was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-5, 25-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Barrington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Muehlbauer, who had five digs and four aces. Maya Etheridge was another key player, getting seven aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Barrington was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 31 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive contests.

Barrington's record is now 13-3. As for Middletown, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
