Basketball Recap: Forest Hills Takes a Loss

Forest Hills played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 58-36 to the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls. The match marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Forest Hills still got an impressive performance from Cam Winnegan, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 17 points. Winnegan's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Even though they lost, Forest Hills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games.

South Stanly's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gavyn Miller, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Valler, who had ten points.

Forest Hills has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for South Stanly, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
