Soccer Recap: Berlin/New Lebanon Takes a Loss

Berlin/New Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Stillwater Warriors, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Berlin/New Lebanon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Stillwater are ranked tenth).

Berlin/New Lebanon now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Stillwater, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Berlin/New Lebanon will venture away from home to challenge Hoosick Falls at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Berlin/New Lebanon will be up against Hoosick Falls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.78 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Stillwater, they are taking a road trip to square off against Emma Willard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
