Waterloo had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Sheffield Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cougars not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 27, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Coming up, Waterloo will be taking part in a tournament against Covenant Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sheffield, they will host Colbert Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
