Baseball Recap: Murdock Comes Up Short

Murdock and Tahanto Regional pushed the score to 25-2 the last time they played Tahanto Regional, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Stags by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Stags: they've now lost three in a row.

Brayden Donahue made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That run marked the first that he has scored this season.

Murdock's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Tahanto Regional, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3.

While Murdock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
