Baseball Recap: Langtree Charter Academy Comes Up Short

Langtree Charter Academy had lost five straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 1-7 to make it six. They came up short against the Pine Lake Prep Pride, falling 17-2. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pride apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Easton Roschke made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

As for Pine Lake Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The result was nothing new for Pine Lake Prep, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

On Pine Lake Prep's side, the team relied heavily on Grant Ingram, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Ingram a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Kaliszewski, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

While Langtree Charter Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
