Nine must be Central Lee's lucky number: they beat New London with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Hawks beat the Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-1. Considering the Hawks have won six games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Central Lee is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for New London, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
