Marmion waltzed into their contest on Sunday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Cadets who were credited with the win. The Marmion Cadets got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Wheaton Academy Warriors's four. Two seems to be a good number for Marmion as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Jamin Berman and Jordan Peinado scored both of Marmion's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Marmion's win bumped their record up to 11-1-1. As for Wheaton Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 9-2 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marmion will challenge St. Laurence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wheaton Academy, they will head out to square off against Bishop McNamara at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheaton Academy will be up against Bishop McNamara's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.71 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
