Football Game Preview: Manheim Central Barons vs. Fleetwood Tigers

The Manheim Central Barons will square off against the Fleetwood Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Manheim Central is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 35 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Solanco on Friday. They took a blow against the Golden Mules, falling 42-6. The Barons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Meanwhile, Fleetwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Warwick 37-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while the Warriors are ranked 53rd).

Manheim Central's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Fleetwood, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Manheim Central skirted past Fleetwood 28-26 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Do the Barons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
