Baseball Game Preview: Bolivar Central Tigers vs. Bolton Wildcats

For the second straight game, Bolivar Central will face off against Bolton. The Tigers will head out to square off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bolivar Central's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Bolton. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Kaden Ubelhor made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jake Kelly, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Clyne Walton also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Bolivar Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bolton dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bolivar Central, their record now sits at 8-11-1.
