Baseball Recap: Centereach Takes a Loss

The Centereach Cougars came up short against the Sayville Golden Flashes on Thursday and fell 5-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centereach's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Sayville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Centereach will take on West Islip at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sayville, they will square off against Islip at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
