Baseball Recap: East Newton Comes Up Short

East Newton managed to slip by Seneca the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Patriots came up short against the Indians on Tuesday, falling 8-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Patriots haven't been shut out since back in April.

East Newton's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-14-2. As for Seneca, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

East Newton will venture away from home to face off against Fair Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Seneca, they will head out on the road to challenge Aurora at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Houn Dawgs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
