Basketball Recap: Barnes Academy Takes a Loss

Barnes Academy lost against White Creek Christian Academy back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maximus Whitmire had a dynamite game For White Creek Christian Academy., dropping a double-double with 25 points and ten boards. Whitmire has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was William Weathers, who posted 14 points.

Barnes Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for White Creek Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

White Creek Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-55 win against Friendship Christian on the 1st. Hopefully Barnes Academy paid attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on the 10th.
