Easley typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Hillcrest proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Easley Green Wave by a score of 58-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-57 two weeks ago.

Despite the defeat, Easley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rj Stack went 6-for-10 on his way to 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks. Stack has been hot, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Drey Jackson, who posted eight points and six boards.

Hillcrest's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Easley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

Hillcrest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-41 loss against T.L. Hanna on the 13th. As for Easley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-69 defeat against J.L. Mann on the 13th.
