Basketball Game Preview: Gadsden County Jaguars vs. Lowndes Vikings

The Gadsden County Jaguars will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Lowndes Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gadsden County is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Gadsden County is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Lowndes on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Gadsden County took a blow against Lowndes, falling 75-30. The contest marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Gadsden County better keep an eye on Tarrell Green Jr.. He was instrumental in Lowndes' win, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaiden Brown, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Lowndes smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Gadsden County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lowndes, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4.
