With a playoff win on the line, Central Plains rose to the challenge on Saturday. They secured a 56-50 W over the Greeley County Jackrabbits. The victory was nothing new for the Oilers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Several Jackrabbits players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lincoln Shafer, who posted 12 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds. Shafer is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gael Yanez, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 14 points and eight boards.

Central Plains' win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Greeley County, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-8.

As of now, neither Central Plains nor Greeley County have any future games scheduled.
