Basketball Recap: Fulshear Gets the Win

Fulshear won the last time they faced Alief Hastings and things went their way on Friday too. The Chargers walked away with a 58-47 win over the Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Alief Hastings lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Deondra Jones, who posted eight points and six steals. Marcos Arencibia was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 12 points.

Fulshear's record is now 9-19. As for Alief Hastings, their loss was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-21.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fulshear will challenge rival Foster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alief Hastings is set to square off against their familiar foe Alief Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
