Baseball Recap: Ransom Everglades Falls Short of True North Classical Academy in the Playoffs

Ransom Everglades and True North Classical Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Ransom Everglades had to settle for second. They lost 11-1 to the Titans. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Juan Velazco was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Ransom Everglades' loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for True North Classical Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Ransom Everglades does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for True North Classical Academy, they will face off against Westminster Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Titans 4.1, the Warriors 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
