Soccer Recap: Spruce Creek Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Spruce Creek was not quite New Smyrna Beach's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Barracudas.

Looking ahead, Spruce Creek will welcome Cocoa Beach at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Spruce Creek will need to watch out since Cocoa Beach have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season. As for New Smyrna Beach, they will venture away from home to take on Matanzas at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
