Basketball Game Preview: Broken Arrow Tigers vs. Edmond North Huskies

The Broken Arrow Tigers will face off against the Edmond North Huskies at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Broken Arrow sitting on nine straight wins and Edmond North on three.

Last Friday, Broken Arrow humbled Northwest Classen with a 79-52 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Edmond North was able to grind out a solid victory over Sapulpa on Friday, taking the game 61-48. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Chieftains are ranked 131st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Edmond North is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Broken Arrow, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Broken Arrow took their victory against Edmond North in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 68-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Broken Arrow since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
