Basketball Recap: Baron Burns' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Larimore over Midway/Minto

It was a good run, but Larimore unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 64-52 to the Midway/Minto Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-49 back in December of 2024.

Larimore lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Baron Burns, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 13 points. Jace Collison was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Larimore's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Midway/Minto, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Larimore nor Midway/Minto have any future games scheduled.
