Chesnee has gone a perfect 10-0 against Blacksburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will challenge the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Chesnee's tournament run continued when they took on Greer on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellow Jackets. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Eagles haven't been shut out since back in August.

Meanwhile, Blacksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Greenville Tech Charter.

While Blacksburg ultimately came up short, they really made Greenville Tech Charter work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24, 18-25, 25-11.

Chesnee's loss dropped their record down to 14-4-1. As for Blacksburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Chesnee took their victory against Blacksburg in their previous matchup on September 2nd by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
