Basketball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower suffered their closest loss since January 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Andover Central Jaguars by a score of 52-49. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-45 back in December of 2024.

Eisenhower's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Andover Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eisenhower will take on Arkansas City at 7:25 p.m. on Thursday. Eisenhower is facing Arkansas City at the right time seeing as Arkansas City is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Andover Central, they will square off against Newton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
