Recap: Terry Bulldogs vs. Hattiesburg Tigers
The Terry Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Hattiesburg Tigers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Terry walked away with a 54-42 victory over Hattiesburg on Wednesday. This was a revenge matchup for Terry, as the team was forced to settle for a 51-46 loss when these two played two weeks ago.
Terry's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madison Jones led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. Jones is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Zion Nelson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Terry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Hattiesburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-10.
