Baseball Recap: Freeport Takes a Loss

Freeport lost against Mt. Pleasant last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Freeport came up short against Mt. Pleasant, falling 14-4. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Freeport now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mt. Pleasant, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2-2.

Freeport has already played their next matchup (against Mt. Carmel Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will face off against Derry at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Derry has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
