Preview: Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets vs. Snowflake Lobos
The Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to challenge the Snowflake Lobos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Blue Ridge is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
Blue Ridge pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Show Low. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Thursday (55), Blue Ridge still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, even though Holbrook scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Snowflake still came out on top. Snowflake took their game against Holbrook 62-55.
Blue Ridge has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Snowflake, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Blue Ridge, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-38 loss to Snowflake when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Blue Ridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
