Volleyball Recap: Resurrection Christian Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Eaton + How To Watch

Resurrection Christian faced Eaton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Reds. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Reds recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

While Resurrection Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Eaton work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24, 20-25, 25-23.

Resurrection Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Blake Coors, who had 16 digs and three assists, and Amanda Pardue, who had eight digs and three aces. Coors has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Resurrection Christian fell to 17-1. As for Eaton, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
