Softball Recap: Waterloo Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Waterloo barely beat Midlakes the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers didn't even let the Screaming Eagles on the board on Monday, marking the Tigers' second-straight 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six contests by 12 runs or more so far this season.

Waterloo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Midlakes, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Waterloo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 4-0 defeat against Bloomfield on the 13th. As for Midlakes, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-7 loss against Palmyra-Macedon on the 13th.
