Volleyball Recap: Glasgow Scotties vs. Metcalfe County Hornets
Glasgow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Metcalfe County Hornets. The Scotties were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14.
Glasgow's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Metcalfe County, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.
Glasgow will face off against Clinton County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Metcalfe County, they will take on South Warren at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Metcalfe County is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
