Softball Recap: Churchville-Chili Takes a Loss

Churchville-Chili lost against Hilton back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saints fell just short of the Cadets by a score of 5-4. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Churchville-Chili saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey DiGiacomo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was DiGiacomo's first of the season.

Churchville-Chili's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hilton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coming up, Churchville-Chili will challenge Honeoye Falls-Lima at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.6 runs per game on average), something the Saints will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hilton, they will square off against Rush-Henrietta at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
