Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only D'Arbonne Woods walked away with it. They never let the Newman Greenies get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for D'Arbonne Woods, who have now won 17 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Aubrey Zachary tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brinnly Redden, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. Makenley Leggett was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The win was the fourth in a row for D'Arbonne Woods, bringing their record up to 22-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Newman, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-8.

As of now, neither D'Arbonne Woods nor Newman have any future games scheduled.
