Basketball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short

Hancock lost against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hancock Owls received a blow as they fell 73-54 to the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights.

Hancock now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hancock will take on Battle Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Battle Lake: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Hancock has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, they will challenge Hills-Beaver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
