Beardstown got themselves on the board against New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly on Saturday, but New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Vipers with a sharp 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Beardstown pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games.
