Volleyball Game Preview: Phillips Loggers vs. Stratford Tigers

Phillips and Stratford are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2019, but not for long. The Loggers will take on the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stratford took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Phillips, who comes in off a win.

Phillips is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since September 13th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Augusta 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Loggers.

Phillips relied on the efforts of Mya Krawczyk, who had ten digs and two aces, and Raelee Williams, who had eight digs and two aces. Those ten digs gave Krawczyk a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Stratford lost 3-0 to Merrill on Thursday.

Stratford was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.

Stratford's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Phillips, their victory bumped their record up to 14-16.
