Volleyball Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

Edgewood lost against Ross back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Rams. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-12.

Kaylee Barker paced Edgewood's offense, picking up five kills. Barker got some help from Ella Crist and her 11 assists.

Ross found their leader in sophomore Sophie Ober, who had nine digs and two aces.

Edgewood's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Ross, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Edgewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Colerain on the 6th. As for Ross, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Lakota West on the 6th.
