Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Kanab's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

It's playoff time, and Kanab had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Maeser Prep Academy Lions on Saturday. The Cowboys have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Kanab found their leader in sophomore Carsyn Cutler, who had 11 assists and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Cutler.

Kanab is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-17 record this season. As for Maeser Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-7.

Kanab didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Parowan on the 25th. Maeser Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
