Preview: Livingston vs. Anahuac
Livingston is 6-0 against Anahuac since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Livingston Lions will be playing at home against the Anahuac Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Neither Livingston nor Anahuac posted many goals in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
Livingston fell victim to Hargrave's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Livingston in their matchups with Hargrave: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, sadly, Anahuac is still looking for their first win of the season after seven matches. They were the victim of a tough 5-0 loss at the hands of Liberty on Friday.
Livingston's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-2. As for Anahuac, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
Livingston took their win against Anahuac in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 6-0. Will Livingston repeat their success, or does Anahuac have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
