Football Recap: Mount Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mount Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christiana Vikings. The contest was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Green Knights couldn't quite close it out.

Mount Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Christiana, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Mount Pleasant will welcome Sussex Tech at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Christiana, they will challenge Seaford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
