 Dakota Ridge won the last time they faced Bear Creek, and things went their way  on Monday too. The Dakota Ridge Eagles walked away with  an   8-5  victory over the Bear Creek Bears. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Dakota Ridge.
 Dakota Ridge got a great performance from  Braden Johnson as he  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits.
 At the plate,  Hayden Friesen was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.  Carson Sauter was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base.
 On Bear Creek's side,  Matt Hegerle and  Joey Vigil did some serious damage despite the final result:  Hegerle  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run, while  Vigil  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
 Dakota Ridge's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Bear Creek, their loss was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 6-9.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dakota Ridge will take on Columbine at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Dakota Ridge is facing Columbine at the right time seeing as Columbine is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for Bear Creek, they will be playing at home against Arvada West at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Bear Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season.
