Baseball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Northeast faced off against Salisbury on Monday. The Bearcats lost 12-3 to the Panthers. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Northeast has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Salisbury, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Coming up, Northeast will square off against Schuyler County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Salisbury, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-4 victory against Brookfield on the 6th.
