Soccer Game Preview: Deering vs. Windham

Deering is 0-10 against Windham since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Rams will look to defend their home pitch against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Deering is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against South Portland on Wednesday. The Rams and the Red Riots finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Windham played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Falmouth.

With that draw, Windham's record moves to 0-2-1. Meanwhile, Deering's record is now 2-4-1.

Deering couldn't quite get it done against Windham when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
