Football Recap: South Caldwell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Caldwell had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-5 to make it eight. They took a blow against the Watauga Pioneers, falling 56-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Spartans were not able to get on the board.

As for Watauga, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Watauga got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cade Keller out in front who threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards. Those 298 passing yards gave Keller a new career-high. Nyle Peays was another key back, gaining 107 total yards.
