Shadow Hills's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Rancho Mirage Rattlers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Gizelle Renteria paced Shadow Hills' offense, picking up eight kills. Renteria got some help from Dagny Perrance and her nine assists. Mikayla McWhirter controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Shadow Hills' victory bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Rancho Mirage, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
