Soccer Recap: New Life Christian Academy Comes Up Short

New Life Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles. While getting shut out isn't ideal, New Life Christian Academy haven't been shut out since back in September.

New Life Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Woodland Baptist Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

New Life Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mount Calvary Christian at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Woodland Baptist Christian, they have already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against Southview Christian on the 7th.
