Volleyball Game Preview: Chaparral Firebirds vs. Mountain View Mountain Lions + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Chaparral Firebirds and the Mountain View Mountain Lions will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chaparral will be strutting in after a win while Mountain View will be coming in after a defeat.

While Chaparral's victory against Arizona College Prep wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Firebirds won by a set and slipped past the Knights 1-0. The Firebirds haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Catalina Foothills, falling 3-0.

Chaparral's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Chaparral took their win against Mountain View when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Firebirds repeat their success, or do the Mountain Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
